Founder and President

Ingrid Hendershot, CFA is the founder and president of Hendershot Investments Inc., an investment management firm established in 1994. She has more than 30 years of experience in the finance and investment profession. She is also the editor of Hendershot Investments, a quarterly investment newsletter designed for long-term investors seeking capital growth at reasonable valuations.

Community Service:

Ingrid co-founded Education Outreach for the CFA Institute of Washington, DC.  For more than a decade she taught investment basics to students in high school, middle school and alternative schools in the District of Columbia, Fairfax County and Prince William County with the CFA Institute providing scholarships to deserving students. Ingrid also volunteered as a tutor with the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia.
